Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that is essential for the human body to function optimally. If you consume more vitamin D than your body requires, it is stored in the liver and used by the body when it requires the vitamin. Moreover, Vitamin D is known to have a number of health benefits when consumed in the right amounts.
